NDA in Tyngsborough pulls tops for Shriners Hospitals

TYNGSBOROUGH, Mass. – Serving those in need is at the root of the Academy of Notre Dame mission, from the high school seniors right down to the youngest students. The first-graders in Barbara Beauchesne’s class are no exception. Since the beginning of the school year, the first-graders have been collecting aluminum can tops as part of the Can Tab program of the Shriners Hospitals for Children. They recently turned in more than 1,000 can tops to the Shriners Hospital. “They kids were so enthusiastic about this,” Beauchesne said. “They collected them from home, from the school.
