Rivier College Thanksgiving food drive sets record

NASHUA – Rivier College’s annual food drive set a record thanks to the enthusiastic and gracious response of the Rivier College community. The Sharing the Feast: Thanksgiving Basket Project collected 304 baskets of food this year, eclipsing the mark of 263 set in 2010. The food was distributed to 12 local agencies following an Interfaith Thanksgiving Prayer Service on Nov. 22. “Every year, Rivier students, faculty and staff, alumni and friends are very generous in helping our neighbors in need,” said Mary Jane Silvia, director of Campus Ministry. “Thanks to their efforts, we have a tremendous impact in our community.”
