Itâs that time of year again!
Despite what first comes to mind, this isnât a reference to the sudden outbreak of holiday jingles, glistening lights and crazed shoppers. âTis the season for a new round of National Honor Society inductions at Nashua High School South.
Every junior or senior being considered for the National Honor Society must undergo a four-step evaluation process before being accepted. The steps include a GPA screening, staff screening for character, a written application and a final screening by administrators.
âItâs a lengthy process, all done by committees,â said Jacalyn Lesser, a math teacher who is the newly appointed NHS adviser at South. âI donât even vote on the applications.
