Greater Nashua students receive McDonough scholarships

The McDonough Foundation recently awarded $115,000 in scholarship grants for academic year 2012-13 to 116 students employed at 48 New Hampshire golf courses who are attending 70 colleges. The foundation has now awarded a total of $1,977,360 since the inception of the scholarship program. Among the recipients were these students from Greater Nashua: Nashua Country Club – Michael Bettencourt, University of New Hampshire; Krystara Brassard, Northeastern University; Grayson Brown, Pennsylvania State University; Frank DelPizzo, University of Pennsylvania; Matthew Mahoney, Ohio Wesleyan University; Stephen Masterson, La Moyne College; Tyler McAfee, University of New Hampshire; Shannon Mulligan, University of New Hampshire; Jessie St. Clair, Bay State College. The Overlook Golf Club, Hollis – Liam Burke, Pennsylvania State University. Sky Meadow Country Club, Nashua – Sarah Levine, Wheelock College.
