‘Suave’ Scouts go on Adventure

CANDIA – Three Boy Scouts from Troop 260 and Troop 12 gathered with more than 700 participants to run, climb, crawl, swim and conquer obstacles in the Oct. 13 Adventure 5K race in Candia to help support MooreMart and the New Hampshire Food Bank. The event was sponsored by The Telegraph. Placing in the top 10 in their age group were Life Scout Christian Santoski, of Brookline, Troop 260; Star Scout Oliver Fetter, of Hollis, Troop 12; and Star Scout Matt Sedlacek, of Milford, Troop 260. “Boy Scouts are trained to think on their feet and work as a team,” Santoski said. “This challenge was an opportunity to push themselves to tackle obstacles for a good cause.
