Marguerite’s Place thankful for grant from Citizens Bank Foundation

To the Editor: Marguerite’s Place Inc. gratefully accepted a $5,000 donation from the Citizens Bank Foundation recently to support programs and services for homeless women and children. This is the kind of generous support that assists our small transitional housing program as we work with families to help them move out of poverty and crisis. Marguerite’s Place Inc. offers safe and affordable housing for up to two years; one-on-one case management, including assistance with education and employment; and daily child care in the on-site New Hampshire Licensed Plus center. Citizens Bank Foundation encourages community-based services targeted at low-income populations and contributes financial resources to assist Marguerite’s Place Inc. and many other small nonprofit organizations in Greater Nashua.
