HUDSON â A potpourri of holiday, Internet, financial and personal safety information is the topic of the November Open House at the Hills Memorial Library Building from 6-8 p.m. Thursday .
This program, sponsored by the Hudson Library board of trustees, will feature Steve Dube, fire prevention officer with the Hudson Fire Department, providing hints on cooking holidays dinners âwithout scorching the bird or torching the house.â
Hudson Police Detective Sgt. Jason Lucontoni will provide information and strategies for improving personal, home and Internet safety during this high-risk season, as well as hints for safe driving.
Protecting your financial identity will be the topic of a presentation provided by Frank Vumbaco, financial adviser with Edward Jones.
Time will be allotted for questions and answers, and the presenters will provide helpful handouts related to their services. Light refreshments will be provided.
This presentation is the latest in a monthly series looking at interesting and informative topics provided free of charge for Hudson residents.
