NASHUA â Boy Scouts from Nashuaâs Troop 19 will be out in the community Nov. 10, as part of Daniel Webster Councilâs annual Scouting for Food drive. Scouts from Troop 19 and Pack 19 will pick up food donations of nonperishable, unexpired food for food pantries in Nashua and the surrounding area.
If you missed the Scouts from Troop 19 who also were out in the community kicking off the troopâs annual Holiday Wreath fundraiser last week, it is not too late to support them. This activity teaches Scouts communication and salesmanship skills, while raising money for troop activities, from camping excursions to community service activities that provide boys opportunities for developing leadership skills and self-reliance.
This year, the troop is offering beautiful balsam wreaths that measure 12 inches in the center, and approximately 24 inches across.
