NASHUA â James Overman excused himself from the telephone conversation to field a question from a young visitor to his office.
In the background, Overman quickly reassured the sixth-grader that he had the necessary tool to resolve the studentâs technology dilemma.
It was barely 10 a.m., but Overman had already worked on resolutions for other various technology issues at the Academy for Science and Design charter school. At the time of the interview, Overman, the IT and facilities director, had been working on the schoolâs phone system, which appeared to have a temporary glitch.
âMy job is both chief cook and bottle washer,â Overman joked.
