Harbor Homes receives grant for housing program

NASHUA – Harbor Homes recently received a $7,500 grant from the TD Charitable Foundation, funded by TD Bank, to support Permanent Housing III. PH3 serves New Hampshire individuals and families who are chronically homeless and who are often living with severe mental illness and other permanent disabilities. Thanks to having access to this housing and the supportive services, these people have been spared from being perpetually homeless, and are receiving safe, affordable housing with built-in supportive services customized to meet their needs. These services range from in-home health care and mental health treatment, help with daily living tasks such as shopping, meal preparation and hygiene, financial management, and other supports designed to help clients avoid relapsing into homelessness.
