Souhegan Valley quilters go on creative retreat

GREENFIELD – A fall weekend was the perfect setting for the annual September Quilting Retreat for the Souhegan Valley Quilters’ Guild. Twenty-one members drove to the Barbara C. Harris Retreat Center in Greenfield for three days of fun, laughter and quilting. In addition to many individual projects, a group-made quilt, designed by Lynn Wolaver, was created for the guild’s Comfort Closet. These quilts are given to people going through life-changing challenges. The guild is always looking for new quilters.
