With another school year under way, donât forget to add signing up for Stop & Shopâs A+ School Rewards to your grocery list.
Customers are encouraged to sign up for the school fundraiser and designate up to two local schools in their community to earn rewards. Since the program launched in 2009, more than $4 million has been donated to local schools throughout participating markets. In the 2012-13 school year, Stop & Shop will donate $2.5 million through the program.
âSchools are important to our customers, and families are always looking for easy ways to raise money,â said Suzi Robinson, spokeswoman for the Stop & Shop New England Division.
âStop & Shopâs A+ School Rewards is simple: Customers designate schools on their Stop & Shop cards, earn points when they shop with their card in stores or at peapod.com, and at the end of the year, schools receive money,â said Suzi Robinson, spokesperson for Stop & Shop New England Division. âWe want to make giving back effortless for our customers.â
The program will run through March 28.
