Fundraiser brings hope to Marguerite’s

MILFORD – Imagine a nonprofit that exists simply to help other nonprofit organizations that work with the homeless and underprivileged. Now consider that this nonprofit was created by a musician who figured he could use his talent and contacts to host fundraising events to benefit other nonprofits and you’ve got the Blind Lemon Aid story. Blind Lemon Aid was established by Brian Templeton, of Londonderry, co-founder of the Boston-based band, The Radio Kings. He and a friend, Paul Debreceni, of Dunstable, Mass., came up with the idea of producing musical events.
