Langdon Place celebrates first annual art show

Langdon Place celebrated Assisted Living Week Sept. 9-15 with residents, family members and staff, and featured the facility’s first annual art show. Many residents and family members contributed painted items, photography and hand-crafted pieces. Events held were: Meet the Artists Gala; hand-painted designs by very talented staff member, Claire Dumond; scavenger hunt, country themed resident and family barbecue; ice cream social with a car show, featuring a 1921 Model “T” Ford which has been restored by Langdon Place resident Chet Marble and his son, Brad. Also shown was a 1925 Chevrolet owned by Amherst Selectman Thomas Grella.
