NASHUA â The Nashua Education Foundation announced the election of Ray Lambert and Bette Lasky to the board of directors for three-year terms.
Lambert has served on the boards of several community organizations, including The Front Door, Nashua Rotary Club, United Way of Greater Nashua, Greater Nashua Chamber of Commerce, Junior Achievement, Nashua Exchange Club, the Adult Learning Center and Easter Seals of New Hampshire.
Lasky has been involved in several community organizations and is co-host of âGranite State View,â a talk radio show on WSMN 1590AM in Nashua. Previously, she was a state representative for Nashua for 10 years and served as state senator from Nashuaâs District 13. Lasky also served on the Nashua Planning Board, chairing the group for 10 years.
Lambert and Lasky join board members Kathleen Allen, Melanson, Heath & Co.; Joy Barrett, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Nashua; Scott Flegal, Flegal Law Office; Tim Hogan, Crowne Plaza Nashua; Mary Jordan, the Adult Learning Center; Beth Kreick, Nashua School District; Edwina Kwan; Deborah Novotny, Peopleâs United Bank; and Peter Tamposi, the Tamposi Law Group.
Officers for 2012-13 are Jordan, president; Hogan, vice president; Kwan, secretary; and Allen, treasurer.
